Molly's BIG day!

Today was Molly's graduation from Preschool. It was a happy but sad day for me. Happy: because she has done so well, loves school, her friends, full of life, just a little blessing to all those around her. Sad: it means my full days with my Molly Moo are almost over. I know, I know, most moms seem to be excited for the day their kids go off to school, but I have to say I am not one of those moms. I love my kids young! I wish we could color, paint, dress up, read books, watch movies with popcorn, go to the park forever! If I could freeze my kids ages right now I would. The things they do and say are so much fun. So, even though I am sad my little girl is growing up, I so happy for her and to watch what God has for her in the years ahead. (and happy I have 2 more at home with me!) She is and always will be my molly moo! We are proud of you Mol!
(The picture of Molly in the green outfit was her first day at school. The pictures in her white dress were taken this morning.)

Ms.Laura and Ms.Pam

These are Molly's teacher's Ms.Laura and Ms. Pam. They were wonderful with Molly. Molly loved going to school every week. Thank you.

Panda

This is Molly's last week of preschool (more on that later). Yesterday she got the chance to bring home her class "panda" for the day/night. It ate with us, played with her and Anne, and slept with her. She had a great time as you can see in the pictures.

Dear Annie Pie #1

The girls got a really fun box in the mail yesterday. As soon as the box was opened we were making bracelets and puppets are on for today! The girls loved the gifts! Thank you for thinking of them. As always you are too sweet. I miss you and your wonderful family. Thank you! Love, molly, annie pie#2, and meagan
(Ann is the little girl (now grown up!) that I got the privilege to take care of along with her 3 older brothers while Josh and I lived in Chicago. It was much more a treat to get to go play with them everyday then a job.)

Morehead Elementary for Molly in the Fall

In North Carolina, they have magnet schools as well as the zoned local schools. We are zoned for a great school, but thought we would put Molly's name in for a Magent school that focuses on art and music. She won the lottery, so to speak! So after taking all three kids there on Thursday morning to check it out one last time and lots of prayer... we decided to enroll Molly at the Magnet school, called Morehead elementary. It is right across the street from our church, about a 10-15 min. drive away, but it looks like a great school, so we are excited.

Strawberry Picking

Every year we go strawberry picking with the kids. The girls really got into it this year. Each girl had their own bucket and picked great strawberries with the help of daddy. =) It was a wonderful way to spend our Saturday morning together as a family. Josh is planning to take a few days off this week so we will keep more pictures coming of our week with him!

Feeding the Goats

Molly and Annie LOVED feeding the animals at the strawberry farm.

My Mother's Day

My mother's day was WONDERFUL!!! I was greeted this morning with cards, coffee, flowers and a large "pink diamond" (thank you Wal-mart, & my girls). I am very blessed to have 3 great kids. Thank you Molly, Anne and Owen. I love being your mama!

Mother's Day

We just wanted to say Happy Mother's day to all the mom's and grandmother's in our lives. We love you and are thankful for all you have done for Josh, me and our kids. Although you are not here we talked about you all today. Thank you and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
