Beach Fun
We are at the beach this week! It is so nice to be away from the craziness of moving, renovating the new house, and just life and be together at the beach. I'm thankful for the family time. *More pictures to come*
Franklin, Tenn Visit
Amy and I with the kids
Owen and Sophie
Anne and Sarah
Molly and Sam
The kids and went to Franklin, Tenn last week for a week of fun. My parents drove with us after helping us clean up and move. It was such a great time being with them, Uncle Eddie, Miss.Jen and the Spodeck crew. I love watching my kids get to play with Aim's kids. Aim and I grew up together. We are more like sisters. She has played such a big role in my life and I love that our kids are building their own love for each other. Thanks Aim for having us last week. (tell David thank you too) Cannot wait for you guys to head our way!
SOLD!- MOVED!- GOOD BYE TUTBURY
2 weeks ago this Tuesday we handed our 4145 Tutbury keys over to a new couple. The week before was full of moving. Let's just say we aren't moving anytime soon after this.... wow! Lots of work. Josh's brother Chris helped us move the big stuff (along with some guys we hired) in a truck. It was so nice of him to help load and keep the kids busy. Thanks Chris!! Then my parents came into town and helped get the final loads in the van, pack up the kitchen and clean. I couldn't have done it without them. Because of them Josh didn't have to take days off from work and I didn't lose all my marbles... some but not all. =) Thank you for coming and helping.
It was sad saying good bye to our first home. We brought all the kids home from the hospital to this house, had our first pets come into our lives, had 1st birthday parties, family dinners, runs in the woods behind our house, we became the crazy five in this home. As exciting as it is to get a new house it is hard to say good bye to a wonderful place we have called home for almost 9 years. We are very thankful to wonderful memories and look forward to making more in at Woodvale.
Saying good-bye to Aunt Betsy, Uncle Eric, Sophia Grace & Baby Jakey
It is hard to believe that it has almost been 3 weeks since they left. Molly asked me the other day if it's been a year yet? We miss them lots, it's just not the same without that cute little brown eye girl and that sweet little dark blue eye boy. We love you guys.
*My camera battery died right after I took these, that's way I didn't get any of the kids saying bye....*
