2nd day of school

Owen doing his letters & numbers

 Love, Love, Love

The girls had a great 2nd day of school.  Owen decided he wanted to do school.  He named his school "super daddy school".  =)  We are working on letters and numbers.  Fun times with him.  Neither one of us knows what to do with the house so quite.  It is always fun when the clock says 2pm and we can leave to pick the girls up.  There have been lots of cuddles and giggles in the afternoons between the kids.  So sweet!

For those of you that know me know how much a LOVE summers.  I love the warm weather, green leaves, runs in the woods, flowers, beach weeks, but most of all my kids.  I look forward to having them around all day, not having to get out of our pj by a certain time, getting to do whatever we feel like, their games they play together, their giggles yes even the mess.  Today we took Molly to 2nd grade and our Annie Claire to Kindergarten.   Tears.  I cannot believe we have two girls in school.  After lots and I mean lots of praying the girls have wonderful teachers for this year.  Molly's teacher is full of life, she loves animals, science, and gardening-right up Molly's alley.  Annie (who has been praying for over a year) got Mrs. Marrow! It was her first big answer to prayer! Mrs.Marrow was Molly's K teacher and has become a close friend to our family.  All three of our kids love her- us too.  Annie walked into her classroom like she owned the place! =)  2:30 took forever, Owen kept asking me if it was time to go pick up his sissies, and I kept looking at the clock... finally it was time to pick them up!  Both girls came out with smiles and talking about their days.  I've wondered why I make this so hard, why I get so sad on the first day of school, why I have tears and other moms don't.  I don't know the answer but I do know I am so thankful for the gift our girls have been in my life.  I love having daughters! I love being a mama!  I love you girls and I'm proud of you.  You are both amazing young ladies!

Today was a great day.  It was my birthday and Josh and the kids made me feel very special .  We started the day with a family 5k run.  It was the kids first and it was so much fun to watch them run. Made a mama's heart so proud! Then the girls and I went to have our nails and toes done, and then we all (even Titan) went to a park and walked and played on the playground.  After putting them all to bed Josh went and got me dinner and now we are watching the Hunger Games together.  Such a fun day.  So thankful for my life and all the blessing God has given me.  Thanks for all the phone calls and messages!

Adams Day

Jay and Nancy left today but we had a great day yesterday with everyone.  We went to the science center, park and Brixx pizza.  We had a great summer getting to spend time with Nana and Popeye.  Thank you for coming!
