Molly's FIRST 5k!!!

Molly and I ran our first 5k together yesterday.  I won't lie I am so SO proud of my girl.  She ran the whole thing didn't stop!  She and her friend Logan were the first from their group to finish.  I was in heaven! =)  She was amazing.  I kept thinking she would get tired and she kept getting faster...  loved it!  She wants to do more.  She has been training with a group of girls from her school that are in a club called Girls on the Run.  It was a great way to spend Monday and Friday after school running with friends.  And I'm thankful to have a little running buddy!  Way to go Mol!  This mama couldn't be more proud!

 It was a big day in our house Owen got his haircut!  He would only let me trim it up until now.  But after I told him their was a sports place for only boys/men and that he would be able to watch sports on tv while getting his hair cut he went for it!!!!  I loved it long and would be more then happy if he wants to grow it out again but oh how handsome is he with it short too.  Love this boy!

All the kids did a great job this spring on their soccer teams.  Josh and I love spending Saturdays this way.  I tried to add up the goals and I think between all 3 of them the Adams crew got 11 or 12 goals this season!  Way to go kids!  Josh was able to coach both Owen and Molly's teams and Anne was on a great team with friends.  We are so thankful for these 3 athletic cuties!

Josh got to go up to Michigan last weekend to watch his brother graduate from medical school.  Chris we are so happy for you!

 Anne adds so much spice to our family and I love her for it.  She is sweet, kind, thoughtful, loud, bubbly, social butterfly, imaginative, smart... my list could go on and on.  She is our wonderful 7 year old.  I am so thankful for her and her hugs and kisses.  Happy birthday sweet girl.  We love you with our whole hearts!

Anne had a great party.  It is so fun to see her with her little girl friends.  She is just so happy and bubbly!  We had a great afternoon celebrating our Anne Claire!  Love this girl beyond words.

* story of the cake:  I booked both girls parties a month ago and when Molly picked a cookie cake I kind of thought Anne would want what Molly had so I didn't order her a cake.  So the Friday before her party (which was Saturday) she tells me she wants a white cake from Costco....problem didn't order one!  We ended up  just going to Costco for her to pick one out and they had a some really cute little girl cakes with balloons or rainbows but Anne picked the "granny cake"...  She was so proud of her cake and loved the big flowers that were of course pink and purple.  After getting over the fact that she picked a older lady looking birthday cake Josh and I had a lot of laughs.  Anne is one in a million and I love her for that.  Happy Birthday Sweet girl.  Our "big" 7 year old.
