Today was Molly's first day in first grade. I was hoping already having been through one school year, drop off would be easier. But it wasn't. I don't know if I will ever be one of those moms happy or ready to drop off my kids for school, and I'm ok with it. Our summer went way too fast. It was so much fun for me having all three of them to play with, read to, run around, play at the park, swim with... I loved it! I am reading a book by Francine Rivers. I came along this quote and liked it for today. "We've all known fear and still do a vulnerable moments in our lives. But fear is not of God. Gos is love. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. Jesus Christ is our refuge and our fortress against any all enemies. Trust in Him." Today was a vulnerable moment in my life and Molly's. That fear of will she be ok, will her teacher be sweet, will she make the right kind of friends, it was all FEAR! I had to like last year give her to God and trust that He works all things for His good. He knows better then I do what she needs. As it turns out she came out of school with a huge smile and had a great day! I love you Molly moo! (warning: Annie starts preschool in 2 weeks!)

Family Beach Trip
We had a great family beach trip this year to Hilton Head, SC. The kids love the water and sand. It was fun watching all three of them enjoy it. We rented bikes for the week and enjoyed riding on the beach, the girls went on a date with Josh on a boat, we ate at our favorite pizza place, shopping, runs on the beach, late night ice cream runs... it was all together GREAT!!!
