My parents came for a long weekend this past week.  We had a great time seeing them.  This weekend was the First ever Canterbury Father/Daughter Dance so my dad got to join the girls and Josh for the dance.  It was fun watching them all get dressed up and have such a great night.  Thanks for coming mom and dad.

Soccer Season has STARTED

Soccer season is in full gear.  Josh is  assistant coach for Molly's team and head coach for Owen's team.   And Anne is on a team with some great friends.  All 3 are doing great and having a lot of fun.  Owen had his first game on Saturday and scored 3 goals right away.  He is just like his daddy! =)  We love being out on the fields all day and cheering on our kids! Wonderful way to spend a Saturday!

Secret Reader in Anne's Class

Josh surprised Anne and her class by being the secret reader last week.  It was fun watching Anne's eyes light up as Josh began to read.  She got to sit in the chair right next to him. I love that girl and man!  So fun!  Owen and I went to listen to the story too.

What a fun time we had with the Spodeck crew and Mama Patty here.  It was a bummer the weather wasn't better but the kids seemed to have enough to do inside.  We painted, watched movies, played wii and LIFE, baked, sewed, hide n seek, and one morning when it wasn't raining went to the park and played.  It is so much fun to watch the kids pick up right where they left off and get along so well.  Thank you for making the trip.  We loved having you here and hope it works for you to come back this summer.  =)

Uncle Chris came this past weekend for a stop through from Peru to Nepal.  We had such a great time hearing and seeing pictures of his time in Peru.  We are excited to hear about Nepal!  Thank you for coming to visit, we always LOVE our time with Uncle Chris!

Yesterday was in the 70's and sunny so amazing!  So we went for a hike at Bur-Mil and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs.  So fun.  Today is cold and 80% chance of SNOW!!!  So thankful we are not the negatives but really snow again…  =)

Yoga

The girls did a 30 minute yoga dvd yesterday.  They were so much fun to watch and were amazing!  Go Girls!

New MAN on campus…

We have another kid Canterbury bound in the fall…. oh the tears!  We have decide to send Owen next year to Pre-K at "Sissys school".  He is thrilled and excited to make friends, play on the playground and ride the bikes they have have for his class.  I on the other hand have gone back and forth.   But after many tears and much praying it just made so much sense.  The Pre-K program works a lot with the K program so the kids have a smooth tradition and are ready.  He will make friends that will just move to K with him.  And all of our kids will be in the Elementary building together for one year.  Kind of fun.  I am looking forward to volunteering in all 3 kids classes and being invalid as much as the teacher will allow.  =)
