Owen Goes to Canterbury

Today was a big day in our house- Owen Joshua went to Pre-K!  I have dreaded this day forever, my last one off to school. (Mon-Fri) For the past week if I thought about it I would get tears.  This marks an end to the full days of my kids in the house with me.  Life is changing and to be honest I'm not ready.  I love being a mom of little ones, I love the cuddles, the laughing, the needing me to help them... I love being a stay at home mom.  I am sure each phase of life (or at least that's what everyone tells me) is wonderful in it's own way, but I will miss this.
Owen has been my buddy, my helper, my littlest lovie, he's my partner in crime.  I was sad today but he was excited, and that made it a great day!  He woke me up dressed and with smiles at 6:40AM! (school doesn't start till 8:30)  He walked in to his class like a pro.  His teachers said he did great.  He was all smiles as he told me all about his day.  He learned a new hand-shake, he got to play in centers,  he got to go on the playground, he ate lunch next to a little boy named Patrick, and he got a new red bag that is only for Pre-Ker's!  Through my sadness I found joy as his little face was bubbling with excitement.  Who couldn't be happy for that?  I'm so thankful for him, for all three of my lovies.  I have been blessed to be able to be THEIR mom.  Here's to a new phase with the Crazy 5!
