Soccer... Soccer... more Socccer

This weekend we had LOTS of soccer games.  We had a total of 7!   Molly had a tournament in Winston Salem and played 4 games- they won all their games!  Anne and Owen both played games in Greensboro and did great.  Anne's speed is so fun to watch.  She had 2 great shots of goal and as you can see from the pictures gave hugs.  Owen did great!  We lost count with how many goals he made.   My favorite was a goal he made from behind the mid field line.  He kicked it hard and it went right in the goal!  So fun!  Josh has done a great job coaching his little team and Owen has loved having his daddy as the coach.  Perfect way to spend a sunny blue sky weekend!

Lazy 5 Ranch

Last Sunday afternoon we took the kids to Lazy 5 Ranch- or as Owen says Crazy 5 Ranch.  =)  We had a great afternoon.  Such a fun place with my favorite people!

The kids had fall break a few weekends ago and so we packed the van and took off.  It was a fun get away seeing family.  Thanks Aim and crew for letting us come and Thanks Ed and Jen for hanging out with us and going to the zoo!  We had a great time!

Owen is 5!  How could he be 5 already!  These past 5 years have gone by so fast- too fast.  He is truly a little blessing.  He is into Star Wars, soccer (really all sports), school, having friends, reading books, playing with his sissies, making us all laugh.  Owen is sweet, thoughtful, energy, loves to talk, smart, and caring.  He still only eats peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and no meat!  Every night I tell him that if God lined up all the little boys in the world and asked me to pick one who would I pick Owie? and he grabs my face and looks at me with his big blue eyes and says ME, Mama, you would pick ME!  We are so thankful for him.  We love you Owen with our whole hearts!  Happy Birthday Buddy!
