Happy Easter! From: the crazy five

We hope you had a wonderful day celebrating that our King has risen!  We did!  It is so fun listening to our girls tell us parts of the Easter story.  Talking about why God sent Jesus to die on the cross for us- powerful stuff.  As a mom of a son it is beyond my comprehension...  I cannot  imagine saying here take my son.  Call him names, whip him, make him carry his cross with a throne of nails on his head, and nail his hands and feet to the cross all for you and YET HE DID!  And the crazy thing is there are many days (much more then I am proud of) I take what I have been given for granite.  I listen to a song as a I run called You Are God Alone by Phillips, Craig & Dean.  It reminds me daily that God did not/ does not need me in His big plan, in fact how much easier would it have been to do things without humans BUT He chose to use us/me.  He CHOSE to add us crazy people to His plan knowing He would have to give His son for our sins.  Wow!  Talk about mercy!   I'm so thankful God shows me mercy everyday by sending Jesus, sending His one and only Son to die for my sins!  Happy Easter!

Meet Rosie Renee

The Easter Bunny brought me and the kids a bunny for easter this year!!!!  I say me and the kids because I'm just as excited about her as they are and my sweet husband is happy for us.  =)  She is a sweet easy going bunny so far.  Falls asleep in our hands,laps, hops around the house and yard on her pink leash.  Titan seems to like her although gets a little jealous.  Lots of smiles in our house!

Zoo

Today we went to the zoo with Sophia Grace and Nana!  It was a beautiful day, sunny and it warmed up!  So thankful for this fun time with Nana and SG.

We had a great day.  Started with soccer games and Uncle Chris coming into town in the morning, a fun package in the mail from cousins Luca and Juliette!, an afternoon with Sophia Grace and Baby Jacob, and then dinner with friends.  So much to be thankful for!
