Welcome Home: 612 Woodvale Drive

Today the Crazy five got a new house!  (well new to us)  We bought it from an older couple that built it and raised their 4 boys in it and just recently moved to  assistant living.  We are super excited and very overwhelmed with all the work that we "get" to do.  =)   Our current home closes on Aug. 9th so lots to do before we move in.  But so excited and feeling so blessed to get to make great memories in a new place!
*first guest were Aunt Betsy, Uncle Eric, Sophia Grace and Baby Jacob.  So fun watching the kids run around an empty house and having a BLAST!  And Eric and Betsy thanks for walking around with us and listening to all our ideas*

Commissioning for BFA and Baby Jacob's Dedication

It was a bitter sweet Sunday yesterday.  It was so fun to see Betsy and Eric be commissioned by our church for their up coming 2 years at BFA but sad to see our time coming to an end of living near each other.   We will miss them dearly.  Thankful for the time we did have together.

Happy 4th of July

We had a blast on the 4th.  Went to the pool- Molly and Josh did a father/daughter race and got 5th!  Molly is already practicing for next year!  Then both Josh's sister Betsy and her sweet family came over as well as his brother Chris and his girlfriend Marianne.  Burgers, hotdogs, salad, watermelon, baked beans... it was fun.  At the end we set off our own fireworks.  All the kids loved it and got totally into it.  Really fun!  Thanks y'all for coming and spending the 4th with us.

Happy Birthday Super Daddy!

Yesterday was Josh's birthday.  I hate to say how old he turned because it just means I'm getting a year older but...  he is now 35!  It is hard to believe that we can be this old.  He doesn't seem 35 to me or look it.  He just gets better looking and more wonderful with age.  =)  I'm so thankful for him, thankful that he was born, he is an amazing husband and out of this world dad.  We love you with our whole hearts!

Safety Town

Annie went to Safety Town for the past 2 weeks.  It was a couple hours each morning.  She had a great time and learned lots.  =)  She also brought home her first "love note" from a little boy in her group.  So we also got to talk about the fact that we are friends with everyone but not old enough for "boyfriends".  The note has been tucked into her baby book.  She will get a kick out of it later... =)  Love, love, love my annie!
