8th grade sermon

On Friday Anne was apart of her 8th grade buddy's, Lana, sermon.  It was a very special thing for Anne to get to be apart of.  Every 8th grader at Canterbury is given the option to either give a sermon in front of the whole school or write a paper.  This year 100% of them gave sermons!  Both our girls are already thinking of topics for their sermons when they are in 8th grade!  So far Anne's in on Christmas.   Love it!

Yesterday Molly started horse lesson again.  She has been asking forever and so we finally found a great farm and she is a very happy girl!  She had a blast!  And I loved watching her and taking pictures.  This little lady blows me away with her sweet spirit, hard working attitude, and kind heart.  I'm so glad she is mine! 

Go Tar Heels!

Josh, Anne and Owen went to cheer on the heels in the ACC tournament yesterday.  They had a great time.  Everyone came home with a big smile- Josh happy UNC won, Anne happy to have gotten ice cream, and Owen got cotton candy!  Win all the way around! 

Meet Bear

We had an eventful afternoon on Monday after school.  Molly and I went in the house to start on homework and Anne and Owen wanted to play in the backyard.  About 10 minutes later Owen comes in the kitchen saying he and Anne found a puppy in our backyard.... WHAT!?!  Sure enough there was a boxer mix looking very skinny and very cold playing with Anne.  Not knowing what to do I made the kids play with him outside thinking we would hear someone yelling for him-nope.  Next we went for a walk around the neighborhood thinking someone would see him-nope.  For the last few days we have called vets asking if anyone has called about a missing puppy, taken him in the vet to see if he had a chip, hung signs, driven around looking for signs, gone for walks... nothing.  So as it looks right now we might have a new addition to the family.  Molly is in love with him.  She has taken full responsibility (love my animal lover girl) for Bear.  Titan loves having someone to run around the yard and play with.  The only two that might not be too excited are Gus and Josh, but they are coming around to the idea(at least Josh seems to be).  It has been a full but fun week playing with this sweet little guy.  Who knows what will happen but it has been a fun curve ball thrown to the crazy five.
